Very good book and excellent conclusion to the series. Marissa had come back to Coral Cove to deal with Columbella House. Practically the first person she ran into was Dylan Reese, current police chief and former crush. Besides dealing with the house, Mia was also trying to find her sister who she hadn't seen in several years. Almost as soon as she arrived in town things began to happen to her - her brakes went out, she was attacked by an ex-con, her ex-husband was murdered, her new-found niece was poisoned. I really liked both Mia and Dylan. Mia was determined to do something about the house and overcome the bad vibes that come from it. She also wanted to find her sister and make up for the actions that split them apart. I liked the way that she immediately took to her niece and wanted to help her. I liked the way that she admitted her attraction to Dylan and was able to connect with him better now than when they were younger. Dylan was a fantastic hero. I loved his protectiveness and the way he wanted to take care of Mia while still accepting her independence. The way he was always there for her, even when she tried to chase him away was really sweet. I also liked the way he was determined to make sure that Mia knew how much he wanted her. The final showdown was great and a surprise to me. I really liked the solution Mia came up with for the Columbella property.

disappearance of a young girl and find closure for her own complicated
past. What her psychic abilities hadn't prepared her for was an
encounter with sexy bad boy Matt Conner.
It was his first assignment as a P.I., and Matt needed this job to show
he was nothing like his hometown reputation suggested. Mysterious and
alluring, Kylie was a complication he didn't count on -- nor were the
death threats against her. Working together, all day and all night, was
testing every professional skill Matt was determined to prove. And
challenging every private desire he was finding impossible to ignore.
Very good book. Kylie had come back to to Coral Cove to come to grips with her mom's death and to investigate the disappearance of a young girl. She didn't expect to run into Matt, who had fascinated her when they were in high school. She certainly didn't expect to end up working with him. Matt was also investigating the disappearance, and didn't need the complication of being around Kylie. It didn't take long to realize that someone didn't want them there, and that someone was out to get Kylie. I liked both Kylie and Matt. Kylie is very good with her psychic abilities and has used them before to solve crimes. This one is personal because she also feels there is a connection between it and her mother's death. I enjoyed seeing the way she worked and how she made the connections. She also felt her attraction to Matt very quickly, but also felt that it was interfering with her psychic connection. She had some trust issues with Matt because of his earlier reputation, and also because of the way her mom always used to warn her against people. Matt was really terrific too. He wanted to solve this first case as a PI to live down his teenage reputation and also to redeem himself from his problems as a cop. I loved the way he was able to accept Kylie's abilities and work with her to solve the case. I also liked the way he was protective of her. His mistake in not telling her of his past came back to bite him, but he was able to redeem himself. I'm really looking forward to the next book to see who is responsible for the main mystery.

Very good book. Devon returned to Coral Cove to get her son away from the city and the brutal death of an elderly friend of theirs. He has been having nightmares and he has turned quiet and fearful. One day on the beach she sees her former fiance who everyone thought was dead. Kieran has been mostly hiding out in Coral Cove. After four years in an Afghan prison, he suffers from PTSD and memory loss. He remembers Devon's face, but not her name or their past. He is amazed to learn that he has a son, but is concerned that his problems will keep him from being a good parent. As the days go on it is apparent that his abilities as a father are fantastic, especially since the little boy's fears appear to be fading. When Devon is attacked, he steps in to protect both of them, as they try to find out why the attacks are happening. I loved Devon and her strength. She is a fantastic mom who will do whatever is needed to help her son. I also loved the way that she is so determined to not let Kieran push her away. She knows immediately that she is still in love with him and won't let him withdraw. Kieran is terrific too. Even though he feels he is possibly dangerous to be around, he can't let anyone hurt his family. I really felt the intense connection that Kieran and Devon had, and love the fact that they are going to make things work between them.

Good book. I really liked Colin. He had been kind to Michelle when they were teenagers, and when he came back to Coral Cove he was drawn to her again. When the murders began happening, he knew there was a connection between them. As strange things and accidents began happening he vowed to keep her safe. Michelle had never been so happy to see someone in her life as she was when Colin arrived on the heels of her friend's murder. As the days went on, they worked together to figure out who the murderer was. Besides his growing feelings for Michelle, Colin's need to protect was a result of things that happened during his military service. I liked the way that Michelle was able to help him with those feelings. I'm looking forward to the next story in the series.
